Titan Training Solutions ("Titan," "we," "us") provides online and virtual-reality training for the skilled trades through our website and learning platform at titantrainingsolutions.com and through the Titan Training Solutions app for Meta Quest headsets (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you or your school/training program creates a Titan account, we collect your name, email address, and enrollment details (such as your program, school or sponsoring organization, and courses assigned to you).

Learning and progress data. As you use the Services, we record course activity — lessons viewed, time spent, quiz and lab scores, completions, and certifications earned. If you are enrolled through a school or workforce program, this progress data is shared with that organization as part of your training record.

Technical data. Our learning platform collects standard technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, and log data used to operate and secure the Services.

What the headset app does NOT collect. The Titan Training Solutions app for Meta Quest is a portal to our web-based training. It does not collect, store, or transmit headset sensor data — no camera imagery, no passthrough video, no hand-tracking data, no spatial maps of your room, and no biometric information. VR labs run in the headset's browser engine; only the same learning progress data described above (scores, completions, time) is recorded.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to: provide and improve the Services; track and report training progress to you and, where applicable, your school or sponsoring program; issue certificates and credentials; provide support; and meet legal and accreditation requirements. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

How We Share Information

We share information only with:

Your school or sponsoring program, if your enrollment is provided through one (progress, scores, completions, and attendance-equivalent activity).
Service providers that operate our platform (for example, our learning management system and hosting providers), bound to use it only to provide services to us.
Certification and regulatory bodies, where required to issue or verify a credential you earn (for example, EPA Section 608 certification records).
Legal authorities, if required by law.
Data Retention

We retain training records for as long as needed to maintain your credentials and meet the record-keeping requirements of our school partners, certifying bodies, and regulators. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; note that some certification records must be retained by law.

Children

The Services are intended for students in career and technical training. Students under 18 use the Services only through an enrolled school or training program, with data handled under that program's agreements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices and Rights

You may access and update your account information by logging in, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. If you are enrolled through a school, some records are controlled by that school and requests may be directed to them.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable hosting providers — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
